How do you write a good essay?
1. Introduction/thesis: A security is the best way to protect your home and family in these changing times
2. Now you have to prove it with supporting details: 1 You own the system: you never pay for equip, worth 800-1500 if you bought it retail, adds value to your home. 2 You save money: your insurance goes down. 3 You protect your home and family: you never know what will happen, protecting your family is most important, when people worry about the economy the crime rate goes up.
3. Now you restate your thesis: “The best part about this is you are not losing anything by getting this system. You own it, it will save you money, and the most important thing is that it will protect your family.”

TIPS and HOPES
My warriors. jake and I just had a legitimate 2 hour meeting at Platinum and let me tell you: We are excited. There is a lot of stuff brewing up right now for the office. We are looking very strong and our numbers are growing every week. I have been out knocking twice and I have gotten a sale both times. You can do this too, your potential is limitless. You can make as much or as little money as you want to. We want to give a shout-out to a few of our standouts so far. I know that a lot of you are busy, but these people have been to at least one of the weekly corporate trainings at the movie theatre. Joey Mount, Jessica Kern, Joe Brewer, Ben Packer, matt capone, Jon Van Wagoner, Nick "pineapple calves" makiheli, Casey Christianson....sorry if I forgot anyone I have low-blood sugar and I need to eat before I die at this keyboard. Based on their dedication so far, these people will likely be some of the leaders in the office. The importance of attending these meetings is enormous. We want everyone to come. Again, I learned the majority of what I knew from preseason at these same meetings. I made enough last preseason to pay for jessies ring and lots more. Today I went out with Ben Packer and he saw that it is not very hard to make a few hundred dollars in less than a half hour. We want this for all of you. Imagine parking in a neighborhood in Orem....walking to a few homes, getting into one of them and then getting a sale in less than 30minutes. Thats $6.66 dollars PER MINUTE. I promise all of you that we can teach you how to do this. Tomorrows meeting is at 8 oclock at the same Thanksgiving Point movie theater. The training lasts one hour and then the new Bond movie is being shown with free pop and popcorn. Its a win-win situation. You get to learn how you can be better at knocking doors before you have even started, and you get to see a free movie with free food. More money and more food...uhh.....no brainer guys. Please come tomorrow night if you can. It is well worth your time. If you want to brings friends you are welcome to do so. We thankyou for trusting us this far. We will not let you down. If you stick to what we tell you, you will make more money than you have ever dreamed of making and feel great about it. Please call us if you need anything. ROB REIMERS PITCH FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE AN ALARM SYSTEM
1 Hey sorry to bother you, you’re the homeowner here, right? Don’t worry I’m not a salesman, and I’ll be real quick with you. My name is Rob, I’m with Platinum. I know you probably haven’t heard of Platinum, and that’s one of the reasons that I’m here.
*This is a simple introduction. I think that the simpler your pitch is, the better the response that you will get. Some people try and use all of these special techniques, I think that these just annoy people.
2 You’ve heard of General Electric (GE), haven’t you? They make a lot of the kitchen appliances that you probably have….I don’t know if you knew this, but they also make a lot of the parts for the home security systems. So they make the parts, and then a bunch of different companies sell those parts. For example, Brinks sells GE parts. We are like Brinks in the sense that we use the same parts from GE.
* This gets the person on the same page with you. It helps them to understand what Platinum is because a lot of people have heard of Brinks. Now they also know what Platinum does.
3 Since there are so many companies selling the same kind of home alarm for pretty much the same price, you can see that there is a lot of competition. So, it all comes down to advertising. That’s why I am here. We are doing some pretty aggressive advertising in your community. We DO NOT go through and hand out business cards or flyers. We DO NOT do TV or Radio commercials. Instead, we use those funds to pay for an alarm for you and in return ask you to be one of our word of mouth advertisers. Platinum will pay for a new wireless security system for your home for you, if you will agree to do three things for us.
1 Keep our lighted alarm sign in your front yard.
2 Try and hold onto our brochure to share with your friends
3 Cover the connection fee to the police department, fire department, and hospital.
It is a little over a dollar per day. That’s it.
4. I set up Steve and Pam Johnson( the ones with the boat in their driveway), Jim and Kathy Kay (the ones with the red truck), and Chris and Jack Stark (the one in the Navy). I have “X amount” left for today. It just takes me a few minutes to walk you through it like I did with them. Would you like me to take my shoes off?
